Your child may be bright, but easily distracted in class, unable to sit still, or take a long time to finish homework.

The key question is not whether the child is “well behaved”, but whether they have the ability to regulate emotions and respond in a stable way.

If your child rarely initiates eye contact, responds inconsistently when their name is called, or shows delayed language development, further observation may be needed.
