Chinese medicine does not replace paediatric assessment and cannot guarantee increased height. Care may focus on concerns such as digestion, appetite, sleep and general wellbeing to support healthy development.

A meaningful assessment considers growth charts, growth velocity, pubertal stage, family height and—when medically indicated—bone age. A single height measurement does not provide the full picture.

Height is influenced by genetics, overall health, nutrition, sleep, physical activity and the timing of puberty. Growth should be monitored over time, and concerns should be discussed with a GP or paediatrician.
